And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike - with a vision to help all businesses ‘go beyond’.\nThe word ‘Pleo’ actually means ‘more than you’d expect’, and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years.\nNow, we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can’t say we’ve got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that’s half the fun! What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations to join our Revenue Operations at Pleo. In this role, you'll help build the technical and operational infrastructure that enables Pleo’s revenue organisation to scale and be part of cross-functional programs as we scale Pleo's customer and revenue lifecycle. If you're excited about solving complex architectural challenges at the intersection of business systems and data and are passionate about SaaS, fintech, and modern Revenue Operations, then this is the opportunity for you!\nWho you’ll be working with and reporting to\nYou’ll report to our Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with teams in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Customer Onboarding. Our team of Revenue Operations professionals is highly collaborative and dedicated to building a scalable, reliable, and connected revenue operating system. You’ll also have the chance to partner with teams across Product, Engineering, Data and Analytics, Business Systems, and Finance to ensure success.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAs a Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations, you will:\nLead complex technical programs across the revenue technology ecosystem - from discovery and requirements definition through architecture design, implementation, UAT, launch, and post-launch adoption.\n\nTranslate requirements bidirectionally - turn complex commercial challenges into precise technical specs for Engineering and Data teams, while breaking down technical trade-offs, system dependencies, and risks for business stakeholders.\n\nDrive revenue systems and CRM initiatives - optimize architecture and end-to-end data flows across lead-to-opportunity, sales-to-onboarding handoffs, renewal, churn risk, and billing operations.\n\nIdentify and eliminate technical and operational debt - architect future-state solutions rather than quick fixes, automating manual workflows and improving data integrity across critical revenue systems.\n\nChampion modern automation and AI-enabled RevOps capabilities - integrate intelligent workflows, predictive customer health signals, and agent-based workflows to accelerate commercial productivity.\n\nWhat you bring\nYou’ll thrive in this role if you have:\n5+ years of Technical Program Management experience - a proven track record of managing complex technical programs involving multi-system integrations, data models, APIs, and technical dependencies.\n\nA strong understanding of the SDLC and revenue mechanics - deep comfort with software development workflows (Agile/hybrid) paired with a solid grasp of the B2B revenue lifecycle (lead routing, pipeline, onboarding, retention, expansion).\n\nSystem architecture fluency - the ability to challenge technical designs, evaluate failure scenarios, define sources of truth, and ensure long-term scalability.\n\nExceptional stakeholder management and influence - strong executive communication skills, high cross-functional influence without direct authority, and the ability to lead governance, risk tracking, and UAT.\n\nExperience with HubSpot or another enterprise CRM, modern data warehouses (SQL querying), CPQ/billing tools, or integration middleware.\n\nA background in SaaS, fintech, payments, spend management, or a high-growth digital environment.\n\nWhy is this role a good fit for you\nThis role is a good fit for you if:\nYou love being the technical bridge between revenue leaders and software/data engineers, translating strategy into scalable technical execution.\n\nYou think in systems, data flows, and dependencies, and prefer fixing root causes rather than patching symptoms.\n\nYou want true ownership of strategic programs and enjoy driving them through technical delivery to measurable business adoption.\n\nThis role is not a good fit for you if:\nYour TPM experience is primarily administrative (focused only on timelines, meeting notes, and status reports without understanding the underlying technical architecture).\n\nYou are uncomfortable discussing APIs, data schemas, integrations, and failure modes directly with engineers.\n\nYou need fully defined requirements handed to you rather than proactively untangling ambiguity and challenging assumptions.\n\nHow you’ll develop in this role\nIn your first 6 months at Pleo, you’ll:\nMap Pleo's revenue systems landscape, data flows, and sources of truth, taking ownership of active high-priority technical initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and commercial leaders to streamline requirements gathering, UAT, and release governance.\n\nGrow your skills in scaling cutting-edge RevOps infrastructure, introducing automation and AI-enabled workflows as Pleo expands across markets.\n\nThe location\nPlease note: We can hire on a hybrid or in-person set-up in any of the locations listed on the advert but you will need to be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role in any of the listed locations.\nShow me the benefits!\nYour own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!)\n\nLunch is on us for your work days - enjoy catered meals or receive a lunch allowance based on your local office\n\nComprehensive private healthcare - depending on your location, coverage options include Vitality, Alan or Médis\n\n25 days of annual leave + public holidays (additional days may apply in select countries based on local standards).\n\nFor our Team, we offer both hybrid and fully remote working options\n\nWe use MyndUp to give our employees access to free mental health and well-being support with great success so far\n\nPaid parental leave - we want to make sure that we're supportive of families and help you feel that you don't have to compromise your family due to work\n\n The interview process\nWe want to ensure you are set-up for success and understand what will be expected of you. If your application is successful, our interview process is as follows:\nIntro call: A 30-minute chat with our Talent Partner to discuss the role and your background.\n\nHiring Manager Interview: A 45-minute interview with the hiring manager to go deeper on your experience and how your profile fits the role.\n\nPleo Challenge: A take-home test followed by a 60-minute team interview. This is your opportunity to show us how you'd handle the day-to-day of the role (e.g., designing a programme, measuring impact, stakeholder communication).\n\nFinal Interview: A final interview with a Senior Leader\n\nTransparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what we’re looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success!\nLast time we hired for this role, we received a vast number applications but only a few were selected for an intro call. Some of the key reasons why previous candidates didn’t make it past the application screening stage include:\nCV writing and content: we receive a lot of CVs, and many of them are AI-generated. We love seeing people leverage AI-it’s a big focus for us internally too-but without human intervention, these CVs can sometimes become generic and fail to show a candidate in the best light. What we're really looking for is the specific details of real impact that only you know from your previous experience. A top tip from us is to use the “Achieved X, as measured by Y, by doing Z” formula (credit: Laszlo Bock, ~2014) to give a really clear picture of what you’ve worked on. A final note: including links to your previous companies' websites is a huge help and allows us to truly understand your background!\n\nApplication care: every single application we receive is reviewed by a human (yes, hundreds of them) because we believe that candidates' efforts should be matched by an equal level of human care. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process.\n\nProfile to role fit: highlight most important aspects of the role, points that might get misunderstood, any specific industry requirements etc.\n\nAbout your application\nEnglish first. Since it's our company language, please submit your application in English. You’ll be using it a lot if you join us.\n\nA fair look for everyone. Our talent team reads every single application to ensure the process is fair. To keep things running smoothly, we only accept applications through our system-our support team can’t pass on calls or emails.\n\nDiversity drives us. We can only reach our goals if our team reflects the world around us. That starts with you hitting apply, even if you don't tick every single box. We encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to join us.\n\nInterview at your best. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the process. If you have any accessibility requirements or need a specific format, email . We’ll design a process that works for you.\n\nYour data is safe. When you apply, we process your personal data as a data processor. For more information on how Pleo processes personal data, read our Privacy Policy here.\n\nApplying for multiple roles? Nothing is stopping you, and we assess every role independently. However, we do look for alignment, so make sure you can explain why your interest and experience are right for each specific role.\n\nReapplying. If you’re applying for the same role again, please wait six months from your last decision before hitting submit.","description_format":"text","description_chars":10628,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Annual leave","Parental leave"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Portugal","iso":"PT","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Cards & Card Issuing","Procurement & Spend Management"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-11-03T11:54:59Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":3,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["conf:3","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-11-07T05:47:08Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/pleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/pleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-07T21:16:22Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":34231,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-08T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2808},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2808"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fpleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fpleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fpleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/pleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fpleo-technical-program-manager-revenue-operations"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3677896}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"pleo.io","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3677896},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
