You’ll sit in our Accounting Integrations team and help ensure spend data (expenses, receipts, VAT, categories) flows cleanly from Pleo into the accounting systems and ERPs finance teams rely on, with minimal manual work. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of accounting domain knowledge, product thinking and technical partner collaboration, where your judgement will directly influence what we build and how it lands for customers. \nYou’ll own a portfolio of integrations and partners, turning customer needs and operational edge cases into clear requirements and improvements delivered with internal teams and external developers. Success in this role shows up in higher export success rates, fewer configuration-related issues and integrations that finance teams can trust at month-end.\nWho you'll be working with and reporting to\nYou’ll be part of the Accounting Integrations team, focused on connecting Pleo with the accounting systems and ERPs most used by European finance teams. \nYou will report to our Group Product Manager from Integrations and will work closely with Product and Engineering to define requirements, make sound accounting decisions and support delivery across many different systems and data models. \nYou’ll also collaborate with external development partners and ERP vendors building on Pleo’s APIs, acting as a key point of contact to keep implementations on track and aligned with customer workflows.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs an Product Manager you will:\nOwn a portfolio of accounting integrations and partner relationships, balancing customer needs, partner requests and internal priorities.\n\nTranslate export, reconciliation and month-end close workflows into clear product requirements and integration behaviours.\n\nPartner with engineers to define data mapping and implementation details across multiple accounting systems, data models and APIs.\n\nImprove the integration set-up and configuration experience so customers can onboard successfully with fewer issues.\n\nAct as a trusted accounting domain expert, making pragmatic decisions that improve data quality and reduce manual work for finance teams.\n\nSupport external partners and ERP vendors building on Pleo’s APIs, ensuring alignment on expectations, delivery and quality.\n\nTrack and improve outcomes such as export success rate, adoption/activation and integration-related support volume.\n\nWhat you bring\nMust have\nPractical bookkeeping and finance process knowledge (expense coding, reconciliation and month-end close).\n\nStrong understanding of how accountants, bookkeepers and finance leads work day to day.\n\nA solid track record working with product teams from defining requirements through to delivery.\n\nExperience managing external partners or senior stakeholders and delivering through influence.\n\nHands-on exposure to technology in a finance context (for example configuring accounting/ERP tools, working with integrations/data imports, or collaborating closely with technical teams).\n\nNice to have\nExperience with European accounting and ERP systems, and/or an accounting qualification.\n\nPartner negotiation experience and/or additional European languages.\n\nWorking knowledge of APIs, data mapping or implementation projects.\n\nWhy this role is a good fit for you\nThis role is a good fit for you if:\nYou enjoy bringing real accounting expertise into product decisions and can explain complex finance concepts in a clear, practical way.\n\nYou like owning problems end to end - from identifying the right solution to working with others to ship it.\n\nYou’re motivated by improving workflows for finance teams and can connect day-to-day pain points to measurable outcomes.\n\nThis role is not a good fit for you if:\nYou want a role where you control delivery directly, rather than delivering through internal teams and external partners.\n\nYou prefer depth in a single system over context switching across many tools, markets and accounting practices.\n\nYou’re looking for a purely accounting or purely technical role, without the “bridge” work in between.\n\nHow you'll develop in this role\nWithin your first 6 months, you’ll build a deep understanding of customer export and reconciliation needs and how Pleo’s integrations behave in practice, then take ownership of a defined portfolio of integrations and partners. You’ll identify the highest-impact improvements to the integration set-up experience and drive them to delivery with internal teams.\nWithin 12 months, you’ll be a go-to expert for integration and accounting decisions, with measurable improvements in export success rates and a reduction in configuration-related issues. You’ll help launch new or improved integrations by enabling internal teams and partners with the context and clarity they need to deliver well.\nOver time, you’ll strengthen your product toolkit (requirements, trade-offs, delivery rituals) and build deeper technical fluency by working side-by-side with engineers on real integration complexity.\nPlease note: We can hire on a remote, hybrid or in-person set-up in any of the locations listed on the advert but you will need to be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work.
