Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software drivers, libraries and/or applications for Pleora’s embedded video interface solutions for end-customers in the machine vision, defense/security, and medical imaging markets.\nWhat you do\nBuild software for embedded systems that use ARM processors and RISC-based FPGA microcontrollers, mainly for real-time imaging.\nHelp lead project planning by identifying tasks, effort and cost estimates and dependencies for the embedded software team\nProvide technical support to the engineering project team, Product Management and Application Engineering\nContribute to specifications, system architecture definition, design and documentation of features, sub-systems and modules utilizing the design process methodology and adhering to design deliverables\nIntegrate 3rd party software and complete unit test features within the product roadmap and project schedule\nParticipate in system integration, including collaborating with our applications engineering team to help Isolate and correct software and product defects, and conduct root-cause analysis\nSolid experience with Embedded Software Development in C and C++drivers, libraries and application in a real-time embedded environment\nExperience developing for embedded platforms running Windows, Linux, QNX or other real-time operating systems\nExperience in ARM board development\nExperience with tools such as Git, SVN, JIRA, and Confluence \nKnowledge of software development, testing, and evaluation procedures \nExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenskills\nExperience with the following considered an asset:\nimaging and/or machine vision\nRTL \n\nOther duties may be assigned as required.\nWhat you need\n6 to 10 years’ experience in a software role \nBachelor´s or Master’s Degree, or equivalent education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.
