You’ll be empowered to reach your full potential through managing your own personalised development plan and access to our learning and development programs.\nPurpose Statement: The Accountant II is responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the accurate valuation of inventory and reporting accuracy of other assets and liabilities for Plexus. They will handle tasks such as reconciliations, more complex financial analysis, and oversee specific accounting processes.\nKey Job Accountabilities:\nPrepare and complete financial transactions (AR/AP/GL/Fixed Assets/Interco/Address Book/Banking etc.) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures. Respond and resolve operational issues arise and ensure stakeholders' requirements are met.\nAnalyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary or unusual items.\nReconcile general ledger accounts to comply with SOX requirements.\nPrepare weekly and month end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances.\nWork on special continuous improvement projects as requested to resolve problems or generate productivity improvement.\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.\nThree (3) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of equivalent industry experience is preferred.\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.\nOther Qualifications:\nExcellent math skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel\nJDE and FAS experience a plus\nAble to work independently and in a team environment\nProblem solving skills\nGeneral office equipment and materials\nPhysical Requirements:\nProfessional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
