You’ll be empowered to reach your full potential through managing your own personalised development plan and access to our learning and development programs.\nPurpose Statement: The Accounts Payable Associate I is responsible for performing accounts payable processes and procure-to-pay related activities.\nKey Job Accountabilities:\nReview and record supplier invoices in compliance with Plexus' policies and procedures, ensuring correct classification of taxes and amounts per invoice.\nDetect, follow and fix problems related to invoices and purchase orders between the supplier and the Purchase Area.\nUpload documents to E-accounting program if necessary for the region.\nResearch and resolve vendor payment issues.\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\nRequires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.\nLess than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.\nOther Qualifications:\nDemonstrated ability to produce concise, customer-focused communication.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and across a matrix, global organization.\nExperience with or willingness to learn principles of continuous and process improvement.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively manage financial and/or other confidential information.\nAbility to identify and resolve problems through the effective utilization of available resources, application of analysis skills, and use of professional judgment.\nIntermediate Google Workspace or Microsoft Office skills, with specific emphasis on competency within Excel.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProfessional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
