Purpose Statement: The IT Project Manager I is responsible for maximizing the value returned from small to medium sized projects. This position focuses on gathering the correct resources to accomplish the project by the targeted deadline while resolving conflicts and balancing available skill sets between projects that may be competing for like and limited resources. Key Job Accountabilities: PROJECT STATUS: Keeps stakeholders informed of project progress, changes, and status in a timely manner. Focuses on factual updates and meeting deadlines for reporting. GLOBAL COLLABORATION: Collaborates with team members across geographical boundaries to understand their workload and potential challenges. Identifies and communicates any resource conflicts or roadblocks to key stakeholders and IT leadership. Monitors individual progress and provides guidance to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. PROJECT LIFE CYCLE: Follows established PMO templates and processes to manage assigned projects. Creates and maintains basic project plans with tasks, milestones, and resource allocation.
