As the guardian of the Plexus voice, you will define how our brand sounds and ensure our messaging builds trust, strengthens engagement, and supports growth.\nAs Plexus expands into more channels, you will help evolve how we reach and connect with our audiences. Align internal and external communications around audience needs and business priorities, with clear goals, channel plans, and ownership that support engagement, recruiting, and retention.\nStrengthen and protect the Plexus voice. Establish practical voice and tone standards that bring consistency to messaging while adapting appropriately to different audiences, markets, and channels.\nImprove communication planning and execution. Implement processes that clarify priorities, streamline approvals, manage competing requests, and help the team deliver accurate, compelling communications on time.\nDemonstrate and improve results. Establish performance measures and use data and audience feedback to improve message relevance, campaign effectiveness, and the Ambassador, customer, and employee experience.\nPerformance Accountabilities\nLead communications strategy and brand voice\nSet the vision, strategy, and goals for the communications team, connecting daily execution to company priorities.\nGuide messaging, copywriting, and editing to ensure communications consistently reflect the Plexus brand.\nTranslate complex or sensitive information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.\nPartner with Sales and Marketing to support growth\nDevelop coordinated communications plans for product launches, incentives, promotions, international initiatives, and events.\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships that align stakeholders on priorities, timing, and messaging.\nDeliver relevant communications across channels that help Ambassadors grow their businesses and strengthen customer engagement and retention.\nStrengthen internal communications\nGuide employee communications that bring the company’s mission, vision, and values to life.\nHelp employees understand products, initiatives, and business priorities through timely, meaningful messaging.\nBuild team capability and operational discipline\nEstablish clear roles, expectations, workflows, and accountability.\nHire, coach, and develop team members while removing barriers to effective execution.\nManage vendor relationships and deliverables to support quality and departmental goals.\nMonitor results, report progress, and recommend creative, practical improvements grounded in data and feedback.\nPerformance Qualifications\nCommunications leadership: Eight years leading communications and/or marketing teams, including at least three years as a manager.\nExceptional writing and editing: Demonstrated ability to create compelling copy, develop a distinctive brand voice, and coach others to apply it consistently.\nStrategic planning and execution: Experience turning business objectives into coordinated communications plans with measurable results.\nCollaboration and influence: Ability to build productive relationships across functions, manage competing interests, and gain alignment.\nOrganization and adaptability: Strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate obstacles and adjust to changing priorities.\nPeople leadership: Experience hiring, developing, and motivating teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability.\nJudgment and discretion: Ability to communicate difficult, sensitive, and confidential information with tact.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or equivalent related experience.\nWork environment: Plexus is onsite 5 days a week.\nAbout Plexus\nFounded in gut health.
