This is the kind of high-craft UI work that is genuinely hard to find elsewhere, on a product whose output ships straight into apps used by millions.\nPlotline is backed by Elevation Capital and supports customers like Dream11, Upstox, and Zepto.\nWhy This Role Matters\nOwn the dashboard that powers in-app experiences for 100M+ end users.\nWork directly with the engineering team and founders on a small, tight-knit team where ownership is high.\nBuild UI systems and patterns that scale with our high-growth trajectory.\nWe're seeking a rare combination of UI craft, strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on execution, and the drive to own surfaces end to end.\nAbout This Role\nKey challenges you'll solve:\nComplex Interfaces: Building visual builders with deeply nested state, drag-and-drop, and real-time previews that stay fast and predictable.\nCross-Platform Fidelity: Shipping UI that renders pixel-accurately both natively and in webviews inside mobile apps, where HTML/CSS precision matters.\nThis is an opportunity to have outsized impact on the product surface every customer touches while building deep expertise in hard UI engineering at a scaling startup.\nOutcomes Expected\nOwn and scale our dashboard and its visual builders, campaign tools, and analytics views, with the state management and performance to keep them fast.\nShip high-craft, cross-platform UI that renders reliably both natively and in mobile webviews.\nResponsibilities\nDashboard & Product UI\nVisual Builders: Build and own complex builder interfaces with deeply nested state, drag-and-drop, and real-time previews.\nCampaign & Analytics Tools: Ship the campaign tooling and analytics views that product and growth teams use every day.\nState & Performance: Manage large, deeply nested client state with a constant eye on performance and responsiveness.\nQuality & Cross-Platform\nCross-Platform Fidelity: Ensure output renders pixel-accurately both natively and in mobile webviews, where HTML/CSS precision matters.\nCraft & Detail: Hold a high bar for UI quality, accessibility, and interaction detail.\nFull-Stack Depth: Go deeper into Node.js and GraphQL when the feature calls for it.\nRequirements\nProfessional Experience\n2 to 4 years of frontend engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production web apps.\nDeep experience with React and TypeScript, ideally on complex, stateful interfaces.\nStrong HTML/CSS fundamentals and an eye for cross-browser and cross-platform fidelity.\nTechnical Proficiency\nCore Stack: Proficiency with React, Redux, TypeScript, and Next.js.\nAPIs: Comfort working with GraphQL, and Node.js when you go deeper into the backend.\nUI Engineering: Experience with complex state management, drag-and-drop, or builder-style interfaces is a strong plus.\nCore Competencies\nProduct Sense\nUser Empathy: Builds for product and growth teams, sweating the workflows they live in every day.\nQuality Standards: Values craft and detail, and can explain and defend UI tradeoffs.\nTechnical Execution\nSelf-Sufficiency: Ships complete features end to end, from UI to the API layer.\nPerformance Instinct: Keeps complex, stateful UIs fast and responsive.\nStartup Agility\nOwnership: Takes high ownership on a small, tight-knit team.\nGrowth Mindset: Continuously raises the bar based on user feedback and product needs.\nReady to own the dashboard behind experiences for 100M+ users?
