customers and participate in QBRs\n\nIdentify recurring customer problems and convert them into scalable product improvements\n\nBenchmark Plotline against competitors and close important product gaps\n\nDefine requirements and problem statements for design and engineering\n\nDrive features from prioritization through launch, adoption, and iteration\n\nMeasure whether shipped features improve customer value\n\nHelp establish Plotline as an innovative, AI-first, class-leading product\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nFirst 3 Months\nDevelop a strong understanding of Plotline’s customers, products, and competitive landscape\n\nBuild relationships with 5 to 6 customers and independently run product conversations\n\nEstablish adoption and value metrics for assigned modules\n\nIdentify and prioritize the most important product gaps\n\nOwn at least one meaningful product improvement from problem definition to launch\n\nFirst Year\nGet each assigned module adopted by at least five paying customers\n\nImprove adoption and meaningful usage after launch\n\nDeliver improvements that solve recurring problems across multiple customers\n\nKeep Plotline competitive with leading customer-engagement platforms\n\nBuild a clear, evidence-based roadmap with explicit trade-offs\n\nDemonstrate measurable improvements in customer value, retention, or expansion\n\nResponsibilities\nProduct Ownership\nOwn assigned modules from roadmap through adoption and continuous improvement\n\nPrioritize customer problems using customer evidence, usage data, commercial impact, competitive context, and engineering effort\n\nMake clear decisions about what to build, what to delay, and what not to build\n\nDefine the smallest valuable version and reduce unnecessary scope\n\nCustomer Insight\nSpeak regularly with customers and independently lead product discussions\n\nParticipate in QBRs and understand how customers use Plotline\n\nSynthesize customer interviews, support issues, usage data, and commercial feedback\n\nSeparate recurring product problems from one-off feature requests\n\nValidate whether shipped solutions have resolved the original problem\n\nCompetitive Benchmarking\nRegularly evaluate competing products and emerging market trends\n\nIdentify capabilities where Plotline must match or lead the market\n\nTranslate competitive findings into practical product decisions\n\nHelp ensure Plotline is perceived as innovative and AI-first\n\nProduct Delivery\nGive designers clear problems, user context, constraints, and desired outcomes\n\nPartner closely with engineering on feasibility, trade-offs, edge cases, and delivery\n\nMaintain clear scope, requirements, success metrics, and non-goals\n\nResolve ambiguity and unblock decisions during development\n\nCoordinate launches with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Support\n\nAdoption and Outcomes\nDefine success metrics before development begins\n\nCreate rollout, enablement, and adoption plans for every major launch\n\nTrack customer adoption, repeat usage, customer value, and retention signals\n\nInvestigate why valuable features are not being adopted\n\nImprove, reposition, or stop investing based on evidence\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n3 to 6 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or a comparable technology product\n\nProven ownership of products or modules from prioritization through adoption\n\nEvidence of shipping and scaling features across multiple paying customers\n\nStrong examples of measurable adoption, usage, retention, or business impact\n\nExperience making prioritization decisions under limited engineering capacity\n\nAbility to independently run customer conversations\n\nStrong product judgment and customer empathy\n\nExperience working closely with product designers and engineers\n\nComfort understanding APIs, SDKs, integrations, data flows, and analytics\n\nStrong written and verbal
