You'll be the reason customers launch fast, see impact immediately, and become long-term Ploy advocates.\nThis is a high-ownership, cross-functional role at an early-stage startup. You'll be equal parts project manager, onboarding specialist, and marketing practitioner - someone who can sit across from a customer's growth team and immediately earn their trust.\nWhat you’ll do\nYour goal is to shorten the path to value for Ploy customers. To achieve this goal, you'll own account strategy, implementation, onboarding, training and support for Ploy customers.\nKey responsibilities:\nLead customer onboarding end-to-end: kickoff, requirements, setup, launch, and handoff\n\nConfigure and validate the customer’s setup in Ploy:\nDesign system / brand system setup\n\nKnowledge base setup (structure + initial content hygiene)\n\nCore integrations setup and verification\n\nInitial “ploybooks” configuration and scheduled ploys that match the customer’s goals\n\nProvide Ploy customers with advice and best practices to get the most out of Ploy\n\nTurn customer goals into an implementation plan with clear milestones and owners\n\nIdentify blockers early (data, access, content, approvals) and drive resolution\n\nBuild repeatable onboarding playbooks and continuously improve the process based on what breaks\n\nBe the voice of the customer to Product/Engineering: patterns, gaps, and high-impact fixes\n\nWhat success looks like\nCustomers launch on time with a working, correct setup (brand system, KB, integrations, initial ploys)\n\nCustomers reach “first value” quickly (they can point to a tangible outcome in the first week or two)\n\nFewer onboarding escalations and less founder/engineering involvement over time\n\nOnboarding becomes more standardized, measurable, and repeatable\n\nWho you are\nA strong operator. You run a tight process, keep multiple stakeholders moving, and don't let things fall through the cracks.\n\nWeb-native. You have real web design experience - you understand design systems, brand guidelines, and how good web execution actually works. This isn't something you'll learn on the job; it's the foundation of your credibility with customers.\n\nTechnically comfortable. You're not an engineer, but you can troubleshoot integrations, navigate data issues, and figure out product workflows independently.\n\nA great communicator. Crisp docs, clear status updates, confident customer calls. Customers feel like they're in good hands because they are.\n\nHigh ownership. You don't wait for perfect instructions. You figure it out and ship.\n\nCustomer-obsessed: You care about outcomes and you proactively prevent surprises.\n\nBackground we're looking for\nRequired:\n2-4 years of experience in a web design, digital marketing, or agency environment - you've built or overseen web properties and understand what makes them work\n\nStrong marketing fundamentals: web design, SEO, CRO, performance marketing/ads, and related growth channels\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage client relationships and complex, multi-stakeholder projects\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in customer success, onboarding, implementations, or solutions engineering in B2B SaaS\n\nFamiliarity with design systems, branding workflows, and/or knowledge base tooling\n\nExperience at an early-stage startup with fast iteration loops\n\nWorking style\nThis is a cross-functional role.
