The individual will be responsible for the operations of active assigned accounts and contacting potential future customers.\nResponsibilities\nSummary of essential job functions\nProviding daily/weekly touches to client contacts via phone, email, etc. to solicit opportunities.\nActively accept tenders, manage spot opportunities.\nEnsure that day to day activities of assigned team is meeting the needs of the customer.\nMonitor overall service levels/metrics for assigned customers.\nGuide assigned employees and ensure that they have adequate training and development.\nWork with Rate Department and Margin Department to develop shipper/carrier rates.\nParticipate in customer service account reviews with assigned accounts, including metrics reporting as requested.\nDevelop strategies to achieve market share goals for assigned accounts.
