Sourcing & Relationship Management\nIdentify, qualify, and onboard new carriers to expand the company’s transportation network.\nDevelop long-term relationships with carriers to improve capacity reliability and service.\nMaintain daily communication with carriers regarding availability, load opportunities, and market trends.\nNegotiation & Pricing\nNegotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation while ensuring service quality.\nMonitor market conditions to provide competitive pricing and maintain margins.\nWork closely with the brokerage team to balance customer expectations with carrier capabilities.\nLoad Coverage & Execution\nMatch available carrier capacity with high volume customer freight requirements.\nEnsure all loads are properly assigned, tracked, and delivered on time.\nResolve service failures, delays, or disputes in a timely and professional manner.\n Operations Support\nCollaborate with customer sales and operations teams to ensure seamless load execution.\nManage carrier compliance, including insurance, safety ratings, and onboarding requirements.\nUse TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and other digital tools to manage load activity and documentation.\nSupervisor\nLead and mentor a team of carrier sales representatives to achieve individual and team performance goals.\nProvide training, coaching, and ongoing development to improve negotiation, carrier management, and operational efficiency.\nMonitor team activity, load coverage, and margin performance to ensure adherence to company objectives.\nConduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support career growth.\nAssist in developing team strategies for carrier procurement, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.\nServe as the point of escalation for complex service issues or carrier disputes.\nCollaborate with leadership to recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing sales talent\nQualifications\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).\nPrior experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or logistics for at least 4 years.\nStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with TMS platforms.\nStrong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.\nSuccess Traits\nResults-driven and motivated by achieving sales goals.\nAbility to
