PLS was founded in 1997 by Bob and Dan Wolfberg, who serve as Co-Presidents. \nPosition Overview:\nShift Supervisors are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor performs all the duties of a Customer Service Representative plus assists the Assistant Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the shift supervisor is responsible for directing the activities of all team members.\nJob Responsibilities: \nMaintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with our customers so they will choose to do business with us again\nEstablishing a strong customer service culture within the store\nSupporting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectives\nAssisting the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store team members to exceed customer expectations\nEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations\nPerforming responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervising the team’s activities in the absence of the Store Manager, including but not limited to transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures\nCoaching CSRs on how to properly conduct transactions that meet our commitment to superior customer service and compliance.\nReviewing and approving checks within limits\nSupporting store marketing efforts within the community\nResolving customer complaints\nAssisting the Store Manager with managing schedules, cash, and store audits\nReviewing all Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure understanding of current policies, procedures, and any changes.\nHelping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team members\nOther duties as assigned\nJob Requirements:\nA minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail and restaurant\nAbility, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers\nAbility to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers\nStrong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team\nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills\nHigh-energy, collaborative management experience\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\nMust be honest and have integrity\nAbility to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays\nEnglish fluency is required\nEnglish/Spanish bilingual is a plus\nWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:\nMust be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods\nMust be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance\nMust be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels\nMust manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customers\nBenefits:\nBenefits for eligible team members include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), vacation, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training.\nWe strive to demonstrate our Core Values in all positions at PLS:\nCommunication\nCustomer Focus\nIntegrity and Trust\nTeamwork\nResults\nPLS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
