SDE - 3 - DevOps

We're looking for a passionate Sr. Software Engineer (SDE-3) - DevOps to optimize our cloud infrastructure and service mesh solutions. You'll solve operational challenges, drive automation at scale, and collaborate to build secure, scalable systems. Expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, IaC, monitoring tools, and incident management will be essential for ensuring system reliability and supporting rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

• Automate and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Kong), Ansible, Bash, Python, and Linux.
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance infrastructure utilization, reduce costs, and ensure system reliability.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable deployments.
• Lead incident management efforts, develop response plans, and continuously improve operational processes to support Pluang's growth.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices with Terraform for efficient cloud resource provisioning and management.

Requirements:

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Kong), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana for end-to-end observability of critical APIs and workloads.
• Solid experience with Terraform (IaC), Python for automation, and troubleshooting to optimize infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for performance and reliability.
• Experience in designing scalable and cost-optimized systems with secure, seamless service integrations.
• Familiar with microservices architecture and API management concepts.
• Fintech experience is a plus.
