This individual supports a culture of continuous improvement focused on achieving the highest possible levels of product quality and operational excellence.\nCore Duties and Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain knowledge regarding Plug Power technology and related manufacturing objectives and constraints.\nAssist engineers in setting up, checking, and correcting operational and experimental equipment. \nInfluence and educate Production Technicians on manufacturing processes and equipment.\nWork closely with quality to ensure processes are in control.\nDiagnose and maintain fuel cell or electrolzyer systems with support.\nWork with Manufacturing Engineering to design and fabricate manufacturing capabilities for in process component level checks.\nCommunicate consistently and effectively to all cross-functional team members including the systems and design teams to ensure system requirements are met in production.\nEnsure manufacturing procedures follow compliance with required industry standards.\nAssists with the improvement of manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.\nMonitor process capabilities and report deviations.\nCreate procedures and run stack test stands as needed.\nRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nEducation and Experience\n0-3 years of related work experience\nHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent required; associates or vocation engineering degree preferred\nStrong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word with the ability to learn additional software\nEntry-level knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, and procedures for typical mechanical and electrical systems.\nAbility to interpret drawings and understand critical features.\nAbility to read mechanical and electrical part drawings is preferred.\nExperience operating electro-mechanical systems is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of data collection and statistics a plus.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.\nAbility to role model high standards of professionalism.\nExcellent follow-through.\nMust be driven and self-motivated.\nMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality.\n.\nPay Rate:\n$23.50 - $34.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:\nBase salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
