Electrolyzers 100% manufactured by plug or including partially plug components. Tube trailers (Only the hydrogen portion of the truck) Any other installation Plug which delivers or compresses hydrogen\nThe Service Specialist - H2 is responsible for providing after-market service and support of Plug Power’s, GenFuel hydrogen utility infrastructure at customer sites. The role requires highly adept technical and troubleshooting skills both with electro-mechanical and industrial gas systems. The Service Specialist - H2 will also be called upon to train and develop our RSR (Regional service specialist) on H2 system maintenance, procedures, and troubleshooting so that they can effectively help providing day-to-day H2 system support to their aligned customer sites. The Service Specialist - H2 also provides a critical interface to Plug Power customer stakeholders and is looked upon to be an ambassador for Plug Power in the field. This role is vital to supporting the strong reputation for the reliability of Plug Power technology as well as furthering the Company’s reputation as a dedicated service partner to customers.\n Core Duties and Responsibilities\nPerforming detailed surveys of the Hydrogen infrastructure at customer sites and inspections/audits for internal HSE purposes\nPreventative and Corrective maintenance of H2 systems at customer sites.\nPerform remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to provide direction to customer service support personnel.\nPerform specialized service procedures and assist Product Service Engineering in drafting/reviewing as required.\nInterpret wiring and piping diagrams (E&ID/P&ID)\nProviding emergency support service to customers as required on their H2 systems as part of the teams 24/7 On-Call Rota where applicable.\nTraining and supervising other personnel on troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of Hydrogen infrastructure.\nProvide customer training/introduction for familiarity with their H2 systems.\nTroubleshooting and preventative/corrective maintenance of high-pressure hydrogen storage, delivery and fueling systems.\nMaintaining ongoing communication and reporting with internal and external stakeholders regarding aftermarket support of hydrogen infrastructure.\nProvide regular feedback to company management regarding field maintenance issues and current statuses.\nComplete administrative duties & documentation including expense reports, site, and system documentation.\nExhibit and enforce safety procedures/standards in the field and at customer sites utilizing existing Plug HSE formats/systems.\nAlways Represent Plug Power in a professional manner and in all interactions ensuring HSE requirements and regulations are followed.\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience\nAssociates degree or vocational degree in electrical engineering, electronics or other applicable fields of study\nWill consider completed time served apprenticeship in relevant field and 3+ years of experience in lieu of above degree requirement\nCountry Specific Electrical qualifications/certifications in addition\nAbility to travel as needed to carry out duties of the position - up to 100%\nDesired Skills:\nElectrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills\nUnderstanding or experience with pressurized gases/systems\nLeadership experience, specifically in training and developing technical skills for employees\nUncompromising dedication to customer service excellence\nDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail\nSuperior communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office software\nAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively\nAbility to role model high standards of professionalism\nExcellent follow-through\nMust be driven and self-motivated\nMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality\nPlug Power, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
