We’re rethinking how work gets done at a fundamental level.\n\nYou’ll work directly with operators who have scaled multi-billion dollar businesses in automotive, EV, and marketplaces.\n\nYou’ll have real ownership, high autonomy, and a direct line to company outcomes.\n\nThe Opportunity\nWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core surface of Plug’s platform end to end. You will report to the SVP of Product and Technology.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role. You will own your surface end to end, paired closely with an engineer, operating with high agency. You form a hypothesis, run the test, and come back with a result. You will not wait on a committee or a process. Most of the value you create will come from how fast and how rigorously you learn.\nYou will be stepping into a small, talented team with real momentum and a platform built exclusively for EVs. This is a foundational role, and you’ll have real latitude to shape how the product works.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn an end-to-end product surface, from the user-facing experience through the metrics that define success, and continuously drive improvement.\n\nDesign and run A/B tests and post-hoc analysis independently, using session replays, customer discovery, and data, without needing to pull in engineering for every experiment.\n\nPartner closely with engineering, translating complex requirements into clear specs and a clean user experience.\n\nPartner across functions (marketing, ML, sales, operations, and finance, as relevant to the surface) so the product reflects real user needs and business goals.\n\nBuild reliable, scalable systems that internal and external stakeholders can trust.\n\nDefine and own the metrics that matter for your surface, and report on them clearly.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years in product management, with a track record of owning and measurably improving a product surface or conversion funnel.\n\nDeep fluency in experimentation. You design tests, own the analysis, and ship decisions fast, with the data to back them.\n\nComfortable operating at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and other functions, with a keen eye for user experience.\n\nHands-on, shipped experience building with AI tools. As part of the process, we will ask you to show us something you have built.\n\nBuilder mentality: you act, you do not just plan, and you are energized by broad ownership in an environment where roles are fluid and the lines between product, engineering, and design are blurring.\n\nStrong communication skills, able to write clearly and influence cross-functionally.\n\nAuthorized to work in the US for any employer.\n\nPrior experience in automotive, EV, marketplace, or fintech systems is a plus.\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nExperience with two-sided marketplaces or high-volume transactional funnels, owning both supply and demand sides.\n\nYou use AI daily in your product craft and are expanding your capabilities with AI tools.\n\nStrong track record in B2B SaaS working directly with enterprise or OEM partners, where the customer relationship drove the value you created.\n\nPlatform and API product fluency, including designing and exposing internal APIs to external partners.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nAnnual salary: $180,000 to $200,000\nSalary ranges reflect independent, third-party benchmarking against national compensation data. Where an individual’s actual offer falls within that range depends on a combination of factors, including relevant experience, specialized skills, training and qualifications, current business needs, and prevailing market conditions.
