In 2000, PlumpJack Group assumed operations of the business, and in 2018, the establishment was reimagined as White Rabbit - a neighborhood cocktail bar that seamlessly transforms into a popular DJ music venue on the weekends, all while retaining a welcoming living room atmosphere.\nPurpose of the role:\nTo provide a safe and hospitable environment for all customers and staff.\nResponsibilities:\nTo check all guest ID’s at the door before entering premises.\nTo follow security protocols as directed by Manager on Duty/Lead Security.\nTo make the Manager on Duty/Lead Security aware of all guest comments and complaints.\nTo enforce, promote and comply with all policies and procedures of PlumpJack. \nPatrol bar property, noting any problem areas or unusual activity.\nTo assist in preventing and quickly deescalating fights, escorting or removing trespassers or guests in violation of property policies and protocol, and contacting law enforcement when needed.\nTo understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the Manager on Duty, when necessary, to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.\nTo extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive, and to thank them as they depart.\nTo note safety hazards and takes appropriate remedial action.\nTo immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions and avoid injury to self and others.\nIn an emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons, immediately notify the manager on duty.\nTo be responsible for maintaining and protecting assigned security equipment from damage.\nTo represent PlumpJack in a positive and professional manner as requested and continually promote the PlumpJack internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships both on and off property. \nTo maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.\nTo attend all mandatory meetings as directed.\nTo perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.\nMinimum requirements:\nMinimum 1-year bar, nightclub or hospitality security experience.\nEnglish fluency required.\nMust possess current California Guard Card at time of hire. \nMust be familiar with federal, state and local liquor laws.\nBasic knowledge of foods, service standards and procedures. \nDetail oriented, organized, and efficient. Learns quickly. \nSafety-minded. High quality standards of production and service\nDiplomatic and calm with strong verbal communication skills. \nCourteous, friendly, and professional manner. \nGood team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision.
