This role is ideal for someone with strong program management experience who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and wants to help modernize mission-critical systems that directly serve the public.\nAs DPM, you will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple Agile delivery teams. You’ll serve as a key liaison between client stakeholders and cross-functional teams, supporting the Program Manager in strategic execution, delivery quality, and team performance. You’ll help guide operational processes, remove blockers, align staffing needs, and ensure delivery excellence while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOrganizational & Program Leadership\nManage daily operations for assigned program areas across multiple teams.\n\nTranslate strategic goals from the Program Manager and government stakeholders into actionable team-level plans.\n\nProactively identify delivery risks and mitigation strategies; escalate issues when needed.\n\nCoach and support technical and team leads; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.\n\nTrack program health metrics including burn rate, contract deliverables, and team capacity.\n\nApprove timecards and PTO requests; support performance feedback and expectation setting.\n\nAgile Delivery & Execution\nHelp shape overall delivery strategy and ensure alignment across teams.\n\nSupport Agile teams in defining scope, sprint priorities, and delivery objectives.\n\nProvide administrative and operational coverage for Scrum Masters, Team Leads, and Program Manager as needed.\n\nServe as a resource for team-wide agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and help remove blockers.\n\nStakeholder Engagement & Reporting\nFacilitate information flow between the program manager, government stakeholders, leadership, and Pluribus teams.\n\nCommunicate status, risks, and issues clearly and proactively to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nPrepare program summaries and performance reports; support compliance with contract terms, timelines, and deliverables.\n\nStaffing & Team Development\nCollaborate with recruiters and delivery leadership to forecast, plan, and fulfill staffing needs.\n\nSupport interviews, onboarding, and performance management for new hires.\n\nHelp stand up new teams and identify team leads or mentors as needed.\n\nAddress performance or behavioral concerns in collaboration with leadership.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Capability Leads, PMO team, and Technical SMEs to align tools, standards, and direction.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts and help evolve internal program frameworks.\n\nProvide mentorship, hands-on support, and leadership continuity across teams as needed.\n\nWhat you will bring:\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.\nPMP certification.\n\n5+ years experience in program or project management within large-scale federal contracts.\n\nProven experience leading Agile software delivery, DevOps, or data-focused teams.\n\nExperience supporting cross-functional teams with matrixed reporting structures.\n\nStrong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.\n\nKnowledge of federal budget and procurement processes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, DevOps, systems, or data).\n\nAgile certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe).\n\nExperience working in blended sprint and Kanban delivery models.\n\nExperience supporting Government contracts.\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.\n\nStrong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.\n\nWhy Pluribus May Be a Fit for You:\nWe are purpose driven. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, with salary ranges aligned accordingly. If a candidate is a strong fit at a more junior or senior level to what is outlined here, we will assess them accordingly and apply the appropriate salary range during the hiring process. The range for this specific role is from $150,000 to $170,000 depending on experience. Salary is augmented with opportunity to earn annual bonus and medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, company paid life insurance and a generous 401k match program.
