You will work within small cross-functional teams to build and maintain secure, modern cloud-based applications for Federal agencies.This role emphasizes back-end implementation and front-end user-facing functionality while contributing across the full stack and the entire product lifecycle. \nWhat You’ll Do \nTranslate business goals into effective technical solutions using Ruby on Rails and modern web technologies\nDesign and implement responsive, accessible, user-facing features\nSupport the full product lifecycle:backlog refinement\ndevelopment\ntesting\ndocumentation\ndelivery\n\nParticipate in pair programming, code reviews, retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies\nCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, researchers, architects, and engineers\nWork in a cloud-based Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs powering front-end experiences\nEnsure applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable \nTesting & Engineering Practices \nTDD and/or BDD methodologies\nAutomated testing with tools such as: Mocha, RSpec, Jasmine, or similar frameworks\nCollaborative development practices including pair programming \nMinimum Qualifications\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance\nProven success working within an Agile development team\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nA bias towards action, comfort with ambiguity or changing priorities\n8+ years professional software development experience\n4+ years professional Ruby on Rails development experience\nStrong front-end development experience using React\nExperience deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments like AWS CLI\nExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)\nFundamental understanding and ability to apply skills in Infrastructure, and Monitoring and Observability\nSolid understanding of:Object Oriented Programming (OOP)\nRESTful API development\nTest-driven or behavior-driven development \n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working on government or public sector digital services\nExperience with Identity Verification and Authentication \nAccessibility-focused development practices\nExperience working closely with UX teams and research-driven design\nModern front-end architecture and performance optimization experience \nWhy Pluribus May Be a Fit for You\nWe are purpose driven.
