This role is responsible for designing, implementing, tuning, and supporting endpoint security controls across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, ensuring endpoints are protected, monitored, and aligned to organizational security standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeploy, configure, and maintain Carbon Black and Symantec endpoint agents across enterprise environments.\nDesign and implement policies, rules, and profiles to protect endpoints while minimizing business disruption.\nParticipate in endpoint security architecture discussions and contribute to baselines and hardening guides.\nMonitor and manage alerts, detections, and events from Carbon Black and Symantec consoles.\nTune policies and signatures to reduce false positives while maintaining strong coverage.\nSupport agent health, troubleshooting installation issues, connectivity, and upgrade cycles.\nAssist in triage, investigation, and containment of endpoint security incidents.\nCollect and analyze endpoint telemetry using Carbon Black and Symantec tools.\nCollaborate with SOC, IT, and engineering teams to coordinate deployments and operations.\nMaintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.\nAlign endpoint controls to security policies and compliance frameworks.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of experience in information security or endpoint engineering.\n2+ year hands-on experience administering VMware Carbon Black (App Control, EDR, Cloud).\n2+ year hands-on experience with Symantec endpoint products (SEP, SES, Symantec EDR).\nUnderstanding of endpoint security concepts such as malware, exploits, and lateral movement.\nPractical knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux internals.\nFamiliarity with SIEM/SOC workflows and alert development.\nStrong troubleshooting and documentation skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in medium-to-large enterprise environments.\nFamiliarity with NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.\nPowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting experience.\nExperience integrating endpoint tools with SIEM platforms.\nRelevant certifications (Carbon Black, Symantec, Security+, CySA+, GSEC, etc.).\nSoft Skills & Work Style\nOwnership mindset and ability to follow issues through to resolution.\nDetail-oriented with disciplined change management and documentation habits.\nAbility to balance usability and security requirements thoughtfully.\nStrong independent work capability with effective team collaboration.\nHiring Assumptions: Potential Start date -
