In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks, including month-end financial close and year-end activities, reconciliations, financial reporting & analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your efforts will contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain and oversee daily accounting operations, including accruals and general ledger entries.\nPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, analysis, and management reports.Reconcile bank accounts, payroll, and ensure accurate cash flow monitoring.\nConduct full-cycle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.\nMaintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.\nSupport budget preparation and variance analysis for strategic decision-making.\nCollaborate with external auditors during audit and ensure proper & complete documentation.\n• Continuously improve accounting procedures and processes to enhance efficiency.\n\nMonitor project budgets, costs, and billing in coordination with the project management team.\nEnsure revenue and expenses are properly allocated to corresponding projects and calculate revenue accrual/deferral based on percentage of completion.\nAssist with software deferred revenue & cogs calculation, tracking, and reporting.\nQualifications:\nProven experience in accounting or a related financial role.\nProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MS Dynamics, or similar).\nAdvanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.\nExcellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with ERP systems or financial management tools.\nExperience in the audit firm, software technology or cybersecurity industry will be an asset.\nKnowledge of international accounting standards and tax compliance.\nWhy Join Us?\nBe a vital part of a dynamic finance team at Plurilock Security Inc (TSXV: PLUR) that values collaboration and innovation.
