that arise in the field, and document all findings through daily reports and actionable engineering tickets for cross-functional teams.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport autonomous vehicle testing by operating and riding in Class 8 (semi-trucks) or equivalent vehicles to actively monitor system performance, execute live testing, and accumulate mileage.\nProvide hands-on vehicle readiness for complex demonstrations and fleet maintenance activities, ensuring all systems and sensors are operational.\nWork onsite during system installation and field deployment Act as the main point of contact for third-party installers and customers/end-users.\nWillingness and ability to travel more than 60%, including weekends, as required to support field operations.\nRapidly troubleshoot and resolve novel or complex technical issues impacting autonomous vehicle systems, including hardware, software, and electrical subsystems.\nAnalyze data from engineering drawings, databases, and field actions to consolidate and escalate reliability issues to the engineering team in a concise and actionable manner.\nCollaborate with engineering to develop and document real-time mitigation actions, long-term containment options, and corrective/preventative measures.\nMeticulously document all troubleshooting and return-to-service actions, including findings from daily reports and testing, by creating and updating actionable engineering tickets.\nCreate and maintain standardized installation and repair documentation (SOPs), focusing on making all programming, calibration, and testing procedures reliable and repeatable for service partners and technicians.\nInterpret engineering changes (e.g., deviations, change orders) and create clear, comprehensive procedures for implementing these changes in field environments such as warehouses, repair shops, and customer locations.\nRequired Skills:\nBS or MS in a STEM-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and work experience.\nRelevant work experience involving analysis, engineering, or technical system testing, preferably within the automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.\nStrong technical proficiency with Linux command line and experience using software version control systems (e.g., GIT).\nFamiliarity with containerization (Docker), scripting languages (Python, Bash), and automotive software-based diagnostic systems.\nExperience with collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).\nDemonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work as a self-starter in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment and take on increased responsibility.\nMust be capable of safely lifting up to 80+ lbs and repeatedly entering/exiting vehicles as large as Class 8 (semi-trucks).\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to rent a car for business
