We aim to revolutionize automation with high-performance systems that integrate hardware and software seamlessly.\nRole Overview\nAs aSr. Controls Engineer,you will be responsible forthe design and development of robotic controls and electronics for our InductOneand related systems. You will also be responsible forprogramming PLCs and configuring controls (drivers, sensors, etc.) to meet performance and quality requirements. You will drive technical architecture by collaborating with mechanical and software engineers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Execution & Product Development\nSupport the implementation of best practices for electrical/controlschange management.\nDraft industrial electrical schematics, panel layouts, and corresponding BOMs.\nSelect and specify industrial components for electrical design.\nProgram and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley or similar) for machine control.\nAssistin the evaluation and implementation of control systemsfor machine safety.\n\nDeliver high-quality hardware releases within scopeand timeline.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCoordinate with software development teams to understand and implement hardware/software interfaces.\nProvide technical support for requests from operations and field teams.\nProvide accuratetime estimates for assigned individual tasks.\nProactively report task status, technical hurdles, and progress to the group lead.\nQualifications\nA minimum of 5+years of experience in controls, electrical engineering, robotics, automation, or hardware product development.\nBachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, or relatedfield.\nFoundational knowledge of robotic systems and industrial automation.\nExperience with I/O networksand machine control using PLCs.\nExperience with Studio 5000, Copia, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and/or similar tools.\nExperience with engineering change management and/or product life cycle management tools.\nStrong background in software/hardware integration and product development processes.\nWork Environment & Travel\nThis position operatesin a professional office setting with occasional exposure to robotic systems and moving mechanical parts.\nThe noise level in the work environment and job sites may at times be loud.\nUp to 20% travelin for the purposes of customer support, first article inspections, site acceptance testing, sales support, conference participation, etc. Although rare, some travel may be last minute.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work/Location\nFull time, 40 hours/week between M-F, 9:00am-6:00pm\nSalary Information\nThe range for this role starts at $113,000 per year.
