The role focuses on the day-to-day management of certificate lifecycles, including issuance, renewal, deployment, rotation, troubleshooting, and controlled automation. The successful candidate will help maintain service availability while ensuring certificate operations comply with enterprise security standards.\nThe position works closely with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to ensure certificates are managed proactively and renewed or rotated on time, reducing manual effort and operational risk.\nKey Responsibilities\nPKI & Certificate Lifecycle Management\nAdminister and support enterprise PKI and certificate management services across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nManage the full certificate lifecycle, including issuance, deployment, renewal, rotation, revocation, and troubleshooting.\n\nSupport both internal and externally issued digital certificates.\n\nMonitor certificate validity and expiration to help prevent certificate-related service disruptions.\n\nEnsure certificate operations follow established security standards, policies, and operational procedures.\n\nMicrosoft PKI Administration\nAdminister Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and/or other enterprise PKI platforms.\n\nSupport certificate deployment and management across enterprise infrastructure environments.\n\nTroubleshoot certificate chains, trust relationships, TLS/HTTPS issues, and other certificate-related incidents.\n\nSupport certificate implementation across Windows and Linux servers and relevant application or infrastructure platforms.\n\nCertificate Deployment & Infrastructure Support\nDeploy and manage certificates across technologies such as:\nWindows and Linux servers\n\nIIS\n\nApache\n\nNginx\n\nLoad balancers\n\nReverse proxies\n\nCollaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to resolve certificate-related issues and support operational requirements.\n\nEnsure certificates are renewed and rotated within required timelines to maintain service continuity.\n\nAutomation & Operational Improvement\nSupport controlled automation of repetitive certificate management activities to reduce manual intervention and operational risk.\n\nUse scripting technologies to improve certificate administration, monitoring, and lifecycle processes.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of PKI and certificate management procedures.\n\nManage incidents, service requests, and operational activities using established IT service management processes and tools.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\n5-8+ years of experience in compute, infrastructure, systems administration, or a related technical environment.\n\n3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing PKI and enterprise certificate services.\n\nStrong background and practical experience in Windows infrastructure (Wintel) environments.\n\nHands-on experience managing:\nCertificate issuance and renewal\n\nInternal and external certificates\n\nEnterprise certificate lifecycle operations\n\nStrong understanding of:\nX.509 certificates\n\nTLS/HTTPS\n\nCertificate chains\n\nTrust models\n\nExperience administering Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and/or enterprise PKI platforms.\n\nHands-on experience deploying certificates across enterprise server and application environments.\n\nWorking knowledge of PowerShell and/or basic Python or shell scripting.\n\nFamiliarity with IT service management tools and processes.\n\nRelevant Technology Exposure\nExperience with one or more enterprise certificate management platforms or certificate authorities, such as:\nVenafi\n\nKeyfactor\n\nAppViewX\n\nDigiCert\n\nSectigo\n\nExperience with ITSM platforms such as:\nServiceNow or similar tools\n\nKey Competencies\nPKI and certificate lifecycle administration\n\nMicrosoft AD CS administration\n\nWindows infrastructure support\n\nCertificate deployment and troubleshooting\n\nTLS/HTTPS and trust model knowledge\n\nInfrastructure operations and
