Responsibilities\nInfrastructure Architecture & Provisioning\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.\nManage and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cluster health.\nAutomate the provisioning and configuration of development, staging, and production environments to ensure environment parity.\nCI/CD & Deployment Automation\nDesign, implement, and maintain robust, automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and frequent, reliable software deployments.\nPartner with development teams to optimize build, test, and release workflows, reducing deployment cycle times and cognitive load on engineers.\nImplement modern deployment strategies (e.g., Blue/Green, Canary, GitOps) to guarantee zero-downtime releases.\nObservability & SRE Practices\nImplement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing systems across all platform layers.\nDefine and monitor critical system metrics (SLIs/SLOs) to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system degradation.\nParticipate in on-call rotations, respond to infrastructure alerts, and participate in blameless post-mortems to improve system resilience.\nSecurity & Compliance (DevSecOps)\nIntegrate automated security scanning tools, including vulnerability assessments, secret detection, and static code analysis, directly into delivery pipelines.\nImplement and enforce strict Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, network security policies, and secure secrets management.\nAssist in maintaining system compliance with industry standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, through automated policy enforcement.\nStakeholder Collaboration & Developer Experience\nTreat internal developers as the primary customers; build self-service tooling, CLI utilities, or developer portals to improve the internal engineering experience.\nCollaborate closely with software engineers, QA, and security teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure or deployment issues.\nDocument infrastructure designs, runbooks, and platform architectures to promote self-service and team transparency.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.\nHands-on experience managing production environments in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nA proven track record of automating manual operational workflows and managing infrastructure completely via code.\nCertifications (Preferred)\nCloud Architecture: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.\nDevOps: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.\nKubernetes: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).\nInfrastructure as Code: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.\n\nTechnical Competencies\nCloud Platforms: Strong proficiency with AWS (e.g., EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM) or equivalent services in Azure/GCP.\nContainerization: Mastery of Docker and deep operational experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS).\nInfrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.\nCI/CD Platforms: Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux.\nScripting and Programming: Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or advanced Bash scripting for automation.\nObservability: Experience configuring and using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic.\nNetworking and Linux: Solid understanding of Linux system administration, TCP/IP networking, DNS, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.\n\nSkills and Competencies\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical
