The role includes conducting regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives, and supporting continuous improvement and professional development.\nIT Infrastructure & Operations\nThe role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including networks, servers, and enterprise applications. This includes ensuring systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability, as well as managing updates, patches, and issue resolution to minimize downtime.\nThe successful candidate will also monitor system performance and proactively address technical issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations.\nCybersecurity & Risk Management\nThe IT & Security Manager will implement and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect organizational systems and data from emerging threats.\nThis includes conducting security assessments, managing incident response activities, and delivering security awareness initiatives. The role also involves identifying risks through audits and monitoring activities, and working closely with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.\nRegulatory Compliance & Governance\nThe role ensures that IT policies and procedures comply with relevant industry standards and data protection regulations. This includes maintaining accurate documentation of security controls, audit results, and corrective actions.\nThe IT & Security Manager will also collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.\nStrategic Collaboration & Business Support\nThe role acts as a strategic partner to business functions, ensuring alignment between IT capabilities and organizational objectives.\nThis includes supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, managing system access controls, and coordinating with HR and other departments to ensure secure and efficient IT operations. The role also involves supporting technical requirements for workforce transitions and operational needs.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nThe ideal candidate has at least 5 years of managerial experience in IT and cybersecurity roles, with strong expertise in IT infrastructure, security operations, and team leadership.\nCandidates should have hands-on experience with system administration, network management, and cybersecurity practices, including endpoint security, access control, and risk mitigation.\nStrong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networking, and security frameworks is required, along with experience supporting remote work environments and distributed teams.\nProfessional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, or ITIL are highly desirable.\nThe role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication and leadership skills.\n\nImpact of the Role\nThis role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization’s IT environment remains secure, reliable, and scalable.
