technology environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManhattan WMS Testing\nExecute testing activities for complex programs and projects involving Manhattan WMS applications.\nDevelop a strong understanding of warehouse operations and apply business-domain knowledge when designing test scenarios.\nReview requirements and solution designs to provide feedback on testability, potential risks, and test coverage.\nParticipate in customer design and requirements discussions and provide testing perspectives that improve solution quality.\nAct as a subject matter resource for assigned application or functional areas.\nFacilitate thorough and systematic testing to identify potential issues before production release.\nAnalyze defect patterns and identify gaps in existing test coverage.\nApply knowledge of software development and testing processes to identify defects early and improve build quality.\nTest Case & Test Script Development\nDesign and develop test cases and test scripts ranging from simple to complex scenarios.\nDevelop test scenarios based on functional requirements, technical specifications, and business processes.\nEnsure test coverage addresses functional requirements, integrations, data flows, and expected business outcomes.\nReview test scenarios with technical leads and developers to maximize effective coverage.\nMaintain and update test documentation in accordance with established standards and procedures.\nTest Automation\nDevelop automated test cases for functional and integration testing.\nExecute automated functional tests and analyze test results.\nWork with developers and technical leads to establish appropriate automation strategies.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test automation coverage and efficiency.\nDevelop automation reports, metrics, and test results for quality reporting.\nMaintain test automation assets after release and ensure they remain reusable for future testing cycles.\nInvestigate automation failures and distinguish application defects from test or environment issues.\nApplication & Technical Support\nApply application and production support knowledge to diagnose and investigate complex issues.\nCollaborate with developers, technical leads, and other technical teams to understand application behavior and dependencies.\nAnalyze technical issues across application, integration, database, messaging, and cloud environments.\nSupport release planning, deployment activities, and change management processes.\nParticipate in post-release validation and support activities when required.\nPerform ad hoc technical investigations and testing based on changing business priorities.\nIntegration & Technical Testing\nTest integrations across applications, APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and cloud services.\nWork with technologies including MQ, Kafka, APIs, XML, JSON, DB2, Azure databases, and cloud data services.\nValidate data flows and integration behavior across distributed application environments.\nSupport testing of applications involving Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript/React, and related technologies.\nWork with technical teams to understand integration architecture and identify potential failure points.\nQuality Management & Reporting\nPrioritize testing activities based on business impact, project requirements, and release schedules.\nProvide accurate quality status, test progress, and automation metrics.\nIdentify and communicate testing risks, scheduling constraints, and quality issues in a timely manner.\nEscalate critical quality concerns appropriately and recommend potential solutions.\nMaintain clear and accurate testing documentation.\nEnsure documentation and approval processes follow established standards and procedures.\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with technical leads, developers, application support teams, and other stakeholders.\nContribute ideas for improving testing processes, procedures, automation, and overall quality.\nInnovate in solving complex testing challenges.\nApply analytical and creative problem-solving approaches to difficult testing scenarios.\nHelp improve testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability across releases.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n3-4+ years of experience in application testing, application support, production support, or a closely related technical environment.\nHands-on experience with Manhattan WMS application support and/or testing.\nStrong understanding of warehouse operations and warehouse management processes.\nHands-on experience creating test cases and test scripts.\nExperience with functional and/or automated software testing.\nStrong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills.\nExperience supporting release planning, deployment, and change management activities.\nStrong understanding of software development and testing processes.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\nAbility to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work systematically.\nProactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.\nWillingness to support a 24x7
