& Platform Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and data delivery.\nImplement scalable data solutions using Snowflake across storage, processing, and access layers.\nBuild reusable components, frameworks, and user-defined functions (UDFs) using SQL and Snowflake-native capabilities.\nDevelop optimized ELT workflows leveraging modern data engineering practices.\nPerformance Optimization & Monitoring\nConduct performance tuning, workload analysis, and query optimization.\nUtilize clustering, caching, and partitioning strategies to improve performance and efficiency.\nMonitor pipeline execution and ensure adherence to SLAs and performance benchmarks.\nData Governance & Security\nEstablish and maintain data governance frameworks, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data masking policies.\nEnsure compliance with data security and privacy standards.\nImplement auditing and monitoring mechanisms for secure data access.\nCloud & Integration\nDevelop and deploy solutions within cloud environments such as:\nAmazon Web Services\nMicrosoft Azure\nGoogle Cloud Platform\nIntegrate Snowflake with upstream and downstream systems for seamless data flow.\nAdvanced Data & AI Enablement\nSupport advanced analytics and AI initiatives using Snowflake’s native capabilities.\nImplement modern features such as dynamic tables, streaming ingestion, and data sharing.\nEnable emerging AI/GenAI use cases using platform-native tools and workflows.\nQualifications and Experience\nAt least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a Snowflake-focused role.\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and internal mechanisms (e.g., clustering, caching, performance tuning).\nProficiency in SQL and Snowflake scripting.\nExperience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nTechnical Skills\nExpertise in:\nSnowflake\nSQL and ELT pipeline development\nData modeling and data warehousing principles\nFamiliarity with:\nStreaming and ingestion tools (e.g., Snowpipe)\nAdvanced Snowflake features (e.g., dynamic tables, data sharing)\nCloud-native data architectures\nPreferred Qualifications\nSnowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core)\nExposure to AI/ML or GenAI use cases within data platforms\nExperience implementing data governance and security
