We are looking for a Software Engineer who can develop and maintain software components, build integrations, and contribute to the design and delivery of reliable, scalable applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of features from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend and frontend software components.
- Build and manage APIs and integrations between applications, services, and AI models.
- Ensure software quality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and help guide fellow developers.
- Identify technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to agile development practices and deliver features within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs, such as REST or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, debugging, and code quality.
- Experience contributing to system design or making technical decisions in real-world projects.
- Ability to own features or systems end-to-end, from technical design to deployment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance technical quality with business priorities and delivery timelines.
