This role will be a full onsite role in downtown New York City. Successful candidates for these positions will be responsible for creating and maintaining all phases of the project and program schedules as well as periodically conducting field visits for their assigned construction projects.\nOrganizational Responsibilities\nSchedulers will be responsible for:\nCritical Path Method (CPM) schedule management for design, construction, and design-build projects.\nAttending kickoff, design, construction, and project progress meetings.\nCreating and maintaining project and program schedules through all phases.\nReviewing baseline schedules and monthly CPM updates.\nPreparing Primavera schedule comparison reports, critical path/float path analysis, earned value reports, monthly delay reports, and schedule risk/mitigation analyses.\nReviewing logic ties, activity timelines, calendars, phasing, resources, histograms, costs, and deviations from baseline.\nConducting field visits for active construction projects.\nDeveloping recovery/mitigation and hypothetical scenario schedules.\nDeveloping scheduler/project controls training materials.\nProducing work samples when requested. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, transportation, construction, or project management.\nMinimum 7 years of related experience in a large, multi-faceted organization.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in:\nDesign and construction.\nProject scheduling and CPM techniques.\nConstruction methods and standards.\nKnowledge of basic civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.\nProficiency with Oracle Primavera P6; knowledge and familiarity with Cloud and/or EPPM version is helpful.\nStrong project management and coordination skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nPreferred but not required: railroad experience, Power BI, PMI-SP, and PMP certifications.
