The scheduler will take a high-level schedule and break it down further. The scheduler will also provide monthly updates, create executive-level presentations and dashboards, track critical paths and KPIs, and recommend schedule improvements or delay mitigation.\nOrganizational Responsibilities\nOrganizational Responsibilities\nPlanning & Schedule Development\nDevelop and manage complex project schedules independently using Primavera P6.\nLead schedule development for large capital programs or multi-project portfolios.\nOversee integration of contract requirements and deliverables into baseline schedules.\nFacilitate interactive planning sessions with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders.\nEstablish schedule standards, SOPs, and governance models for broader team adoption.\nSchedule Monitoring & Controls\nPerform high-level progress updates, forecasting, and earned value analysis.\nAnalyze schedule variances, identify root causes, and provide mitigation strategies.\nLead review and quality control of schedule submittals across multiple projects.\nEnforce disciplined use of baselines, updates, and revisions in line with PMA standards.\nSchedule Analysis & Forensics\nPerform or oversee what-if scenario planning and delay/time impact analysis.\nEvaluate entitlement claims, prepare defensible analysis, and provide expert recommendations.\nInterpret and communicate complex delay issues to clients and stakeholders in clear written and verbal formats.\nSelect and apply appropriate delay analysis methodologies based on scenario context.\nReporting & Communication\nLead the development of executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, and narratives.\nCommunicate schedule insights and recommendations to non-schedulers and executives.\nIdentify critical path deviations, risk factors, and performance drivers for leadership review.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to align schedule reporting with project and business objectives.\nMentorship & Leadership\nServe as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior schedulers.\nProvide technical leadership across project teams and support internal training efforts.\nPromote the adoption of PMA scheduling best practices across accounts and regions.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\nMinimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in scheduling/project controls.\nRecognized expertise in CPM scheduling theory, Primavera P6, and schedule forensics.\nStrong knowledge of construction lifecycles and operational project workflows.\nDemonstrated leadership in managing schedule strategy and client relationships.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to work independently and assume a lead role on technical and strategic
