The Accounts Receivable Manager will partner closely with Accounting and Finance leadership, Account Executives, agencies, business stakeholders, and external customers to strengthen processes, resolve issues, and improve cash flow.\nResponsibilities\nLead day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including invoice billing, cash applications, adjustments, credit card transactions, remote bank deposits, and collections.\nManage and develop the accounts receivable team, establishing clear priorities, service expectations, controls, and performance goals.\nOversee the full order-to-cash cycle and ensure invoices, receipts, credits, write-offs, and adjustments are accurately recorded and supported.\nMonitor aging, delinquency, and collection activity; develop escalation strategies and collaborate with Account Executives and agencies to resolve outstanding balances.\nResearch and resolve complex billing, payment, contract, and customer-account issues while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.\nReview and approve account reconciliations, including accounts receivable, revenue, deferred revenue, bank, credit card, and related balance sheet accounts.\nPrepare or review journal entries as needed.\nOwn the preparation and distribution of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc accounts receivable reports, dashboards, and management analyses.\nCoordinate accounts receivable activities for month-end and year-end close, audits, and other financial reporting requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, systems, controls, and reporting; lead implementation of approved improvements.\nUse Excel extensively to analyze data, including pivot tables, lookups, aging analysis, and management reporting.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nAt least five or more years of progressive accounts receivable or accounting experience, including experience leading or supervising AR activities.\nStrong understanding of full-cycle accounts receivable, collections, cash application, reconciliations, revenue, and month-end close processes.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution.\nStrong communication, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.\nHigh level of attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and accountability.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and subsidiaries.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Placements IO, or similar ERP, CRM, and media-industry systems.\nExperience managing or mentoring an accounts receivable team.\nExperience with deferred revenue, journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations, and audit support.\nDigital media, print media, advertising, entertainment, data, or live-events industry experience.\nExperience implementing AR process improvements, internal controls, or reporting automation.\nAs PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite four days per week and remotely one day per week. This position is based in West Los Angeles.\nA good faith estimate of the salary range is $90,000 - $100,000 upon hire + Bonus.
