The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.\nAs PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite in the NYC office 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture. \nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for assigned PMC Brands and departments, including P&L results, KPIs, and clear management commentary.\nLead variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year; explain revenue, vendor cost, margin, and operating expense drivers and recommend actions.\nLead assigned portions of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning cycles by coordinating assumptions, consolidating inputs, and challenging submissions.\nSupport month-end close by reviewing actuals, accruals, reclasses, and reporting outputs in partnership with Accounting.\nLead detailed sales revenue, production, and expense tracking across productions, events, branded content, media operations, freelance, and other PMC businesses.\nOwn or coordinate quota planning, commission and bonus calculations, headcount planning, and other cyclical processes.\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather inputs, understand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and translate financial information into solution-minded recommendations.\nBuild and maintain financial models and scenario analyses for revenue, pricing, labor, vendor costs, margins, and profitability.\nPrepare management review materials and executive-ready analyses, including presentations and supporting exhibits for Finance leadership and the Board of Directors.\nIdentify and implement improvements to recurring reports, templates, data quality, and processes to drive efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.\nQualifications & Preferred Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.\n3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or other analytical finance roles; Senior Analyst-level experience preferred.\nDemonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close support, financial modeling, and management reporting.\nStrong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including PivotTables and lookups; strong PowerPoint skills; familiarity with AI tools preferred.\nStrong attention to detail, data integrity, analytical judgment, and ability to summarize business decisions into clear and actionable financial plans.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.\nCollaborative, proactive, solution-minded, and comfortable leading workstreams across different functions in a deadline-driven environment.\nExperience with Workday Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, Salesforce, NetSuite, UltiPro, or similar financial/reporting systems.\nExperience in media, entertainment, digital media, live events, production finance, or multi-brand operating businesses preferred.\nA good faith estimate of the salary range is $85k - $100k upon hire + Bonus.
