This position will report to the Payroll Manager and work closely with the corporate HR & Finance team. This role will be responsible for the payroll processing for multiple companies/brands within the larger PMC umbrella as well as the day-to-day management of several of the Company’s benefit plans. Your service-oriented attitude will help you to thrive in a role where you are expected to help evolve the Company’s philosophy as it relates to all of our benefit platforms and offerings.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and update HRIS database records and ensure the accuracy of employee data.\nAdministers payroll processes, including onboardings, changes, and terminations.\nPrepare and analyze various reports, such as headcount, turnover, and payroll summaries.\nMaintain compliance with multi-state, and local employment laws and regulations.\nAssist with employee's union initiation fees and regular union dues deductions and their timely remittance to the union\nSummary:\nProcess bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll transactions accurately and timely, including verifying timekeeping records and deductions.\nStrong understanding of payroll processing (union payroll and administration experience a plus).\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong attention to accuracy and details.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\nThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.\nStrong computer skills - Expert level Excel skills including extensive experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.\nCalculating and processing timely salary increases per union agreement.\nCalculate and process retroactive pay per union agreement.\nSet up and maintain different deduction codes, payroll groups and policies for member employees.\nCollaborate with legal and people teams in the timely and accurate implementation of union-related pay and benefit policies.\nSupport union audits.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in payroll is preferred.\nAt least 2 years of payroll processing experience in a union\nExcellent knowledge of web-based payroll and timekeeping systems, preferably UKG\nExcellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nSelf-motivation and desire to continually improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of processes.\nA good faith estimate of the salary range is $70k - $80k upon hire.
