The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables to support project execution.\nKey accountabilities\nTransmission Line Design & Route Engineering\nPerform tower spotting using PLS CADD.\nPrepare and review line schedules.\nVerify route maps and access maps.\nConduct internal and external clearance checks as per applicable standards.\nPerform wind pressure and sag-tension calculations.\nDevelop and review 3D wire clearance diagrams.\nPrepare profile drawings using PLS CADD.\nTower Engineering\nModel transmission towers using PLS Tower.\nPerform wire and wind loading calculations.\nExecute Method 4 tower design.\nConduct tower analysis and structural design.\nDesign gantry structures.\nAssessment & Studies\nAssess structural integrity of existing towers.\nConduct strengthening assessments.\nPerform Construction Design Studies (CDS).\nDesign and verify redundant towers.\nFoundation Engineering\nDesign foundations for transmission line towers.\nReview and check foundation drawings for compliance and accuracy.\nDocumentation & Deliverables\nPrepare and validate Bill of Materials (BOM).\nReview GA (General Arrangement) and ED (Erection Drawings).\nCheck tower hardware drawings.\nRequirements\nSkills and Experience | Essential\nProficiency in PLS Tower, PLS CADD, and AutoCAD.\nStrong knowledge of transmission line design principles and standards.\nExperience in tower modelling, analysis, and design.\nFamiliarity with sag-tension calculations and clearance requirements.\nExperience in route engineering and profile drawing preparation.\nUnderstanding of foundation design for transmission towers.\nAbility to interpret and review engineering drawings (GA, ED, hardware drawings).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nSkills and Experience | Desirable\nExperience in Method 4 analysis and advanced tower optimization techniques.\nExposure to international standards (IEC, IS, ASCE, etc.).\nExperience in structural assessment and strengthening of existing assets.\nKnowledge of Construction Design Studies (CDS).\nFamiliarity with 3D modelling and advanced clearance analysis.\nExperience in multidisciplinary coordination and project execution.\nPersonal attributes\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to
