This position focuses on monitoring alerts, assisting in investigations, operating security tools, and contributing to the implementation of security controls.\nYou will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams-to help strengthen and maintain the organization’s overall security posture across on-premises and cloud-based environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity Operations\nMonitor and triage security alerts generated from monitoring and detection platforms\nSupport incident investigation through evidence collection and impact analysis\nEscalate security events in line with established procedures and service levels\nAssist in incident containment, remediation, and recovery efforts\nApply threat intelligence frameworks to support investigations\nOperate and maintain various security tools across endpoint, identity, cloud, and network domains\nTrack incidents, service requests, and changes in alignment with internal processes and SLAs\nProactively identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and control gaps\nSecurity Engineering & Implementation\nSupport the development and enforcement of security governance practices\nAssist in designing and implementing security controls across systems and platforms\nContribute to the creation and improvement of incident response playbooks\nPerform security assessments on applications and services\nTranslate business requirements into secure technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders\nMaintain documentation including system designs, configurations, policies, and risk registers\nSupport asset validation and license tracking activities\nParticipate in vulnerability management initiatives\nAssist in threat modeling and defining security control requirements\nExplore the use of automation and emerging technologies to enhance security capabilities\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in cybersecurity operations or a related role\nAt least 1 year of experience supporting the design or implementation of security controls\nHands-on experience in incident detection, response, and basic forensic analysis\nFamiliarity with threat intelligence concepts, including indicators of compromise (IOCs)\nKnowledge of key security domains such as:\nNetwork security (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)\nEndpoint and system security (Windows and Linux)\nCloud and SaaS security\nSecurity monitoring and logging tools\nExperience working with cloud platforms, particularly in implementing secure configurations\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, threat modeling approaches)\nExposure to enterprise security technologies across network, endpoint, identity, and cloud environments\nPreferred / Supporting Skills\nAwareness of current cybersecurity threats, trends, and attack techniques\nUnderstanding of modern security concepts such as Zero Trust and network segmentation\nExposure to infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, scripting, or API integrations (e.g., Python)\nFamiliarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)\nKnowledge of risk assessment methodologies\nWillingness to support on-call or after-hours incident response as needed\nRelevant certifications (advantageous but not required):\nNetwork or security certifications\nCloud security certifications\nIndustry-recognized cybersecurity certifications\nExposure to AI-related security concepts\nBehavioral
