Our scale offers.\n\nYour 'day to day': \n\nAs a Data Engineer on the Data Services team, you will design, build, and optimize scalable solutions that make trusted, fit-for-purpose data available across the enterprise. You will use modern cloud and data platforms to accelerate analytics, AI, and insights while advancing automation, quality, and governance.\n Design and maintain scalable, secure architectures and pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Matillion, Databricks, Atlan, Profisee, and Power BI.\n Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for reliable delivery of structured and unstructured data.\n Automate QA, DevOps, FinOps, and security governance to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.\n Partner with data scientists to operationalize AI/ML models in production-ready pipelines.\n Monitor data quality and ensure reporting needs, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements are met.\n Mentor and collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional partners, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.\n\nWho we're looking for:\n Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and within commutable distance of Tampa, FL.\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.\n 4+ years of hands-on experience with data engineering technologies including SQL, Azure Database, ADF, Snowflake, AWS, Synapse, and Matillion.\n Expertise in data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data warehouse optimization; proficiency in SQL and experience with Python and/or Scala.\n Experience with Databricks, Power BI, Atlan, and Profisee is preferred, plus knowledge of MDM, data governance, and enterprise data quality.\n Experience automating QA, CI/CD, DevOps, FinOps, and security governance controls.\n Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and partnering with business and technical teams.\n\nAnnual Base Salary Range: $88,000 - $110,000\n\nWhat we offer: \n Competitive salary, applicable annual bonus, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) match, wellness and commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, hybrid work, career development, and an inclusive global culture.\n\nPMI U.S.: Invested in America\n\nPhilip Morris International Inc.'s U.S. businesses are invested in America's future and advancing a smoke-free nation.
