Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nProduce weekly and monthly transportation reports including on time and in full statistics\nAnalyze reports and provide recommendations and feedback as to where the department can improve on cost\nProvide routing instructions, as necessary, to customers and vendors\nProcess all claims and billing verifications, and resolve any issues\nEfficiently and timely handle internal/external common carriers, FTL and LTL and Parcel carriers inquiries\nMonitor all outbound and inbound shipments\nReview daily outbound shipments to ensure proper carrier selections for delivery in the customers delivery window\nEnsure compliance with Logistics Director and or Supervisor\nProduce, analyze and maintain shipping data to ensure compliance with department goals and targets\nWorking with our 3PL warehouses to receive in and maintain inventory\nRouting of Domestic shipments\nRouting of International shipments\nPreparing export / import documentation\nMaintain accurate records including POD (proof of delivery) archive files on all domestic transportation shipments, helping the accounting department in providing PODs to customers for payment\nInteract with various business units to research traffic/logistics requirements and develop plans as needed\nResolve shipping discrepancies by working with carriers, customers and PNY staff\nAssist in securing customer delivery appointments as required\nAssist in training warehouse, sales and purchasing personnel on shipping document generation\nFiling loss / damage claims with carriers\nPrepare outbound domestic bills of lading and other required documentation\nAssist in monitoring outside 3PL warehouses\nAssist in other areas, as assigned\nCOMPENSATION:\nThe base salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $65,000.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.\nBENEFITS OVERVIEW:\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D coverage, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k) retirement plan, annual discretionary salary increases and bonuses.
