You don’t need to come from the EV industry, if you bring strong electrical knowledge, a coaching mindset and pride in high standards, we’ll help you build your expertise in EV.”\nWhat You'll Do:\nOverseeing testing, commissioning, and handover of charging units\nPerforming random quality audits to maintain consistency across installers and contractors \nMonitoring the use of correct tools, protective devices (RCDs, MCBs, RCBOs), surge protection and general PPE \nEnsure installers are competent with single-phase \nEnsure installations are carried out to a professional standard, with tidy workmanship \nConfirm proper user demonstrations and documentation are provided to customers \nHandle escalations where installation quality is questioned\nPromote awareness of updates in electrical regulations and industry standards \nSupport with technical questions raised from field team\nIdentify and act on process and procedures improvements, whilst on-site\nWork with the H&S department to improve site safety and standards\nManage and check calibration of safety test equipment\nAid with the Certificate completion deadlines.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nWe reckon this role would be perfect for someone who's got a passion for the electrical installations world, whilst you don't have to have worked in the EV world before, it would be advantageous if you did! The core skills we are looking for are:\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or \nC&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation (2391)\nEnvironmentally conscious, with a passion for sustainability \nFull UK driving License\nHigh level of knowledge around site health and safety \nYou'll have proven experience of coaching others\nExperience of completing end-to-end EV charger installations (preferred, not essential)\nC&G Inspection and Testing (preferred, not essential)\nWhat's In It For You?\nIf you love the electrical world but are ready to step beyond being on the tools every day, this could be a brilliant next move.
