We partner with tens of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across North America, and every customer’s success starts with getting their data into Podium accurately and efficiently.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our Guatemala team on a 3-month temporary contract.\nAs a Data Migration Specialist, you will ensure new Podium customers start with clean, accurate, and well-structured data from day one. You’ll work closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers to extract, clean, transform, validate, and import customer data from legacy systems into Podium.\nThis is a hands-on technical role where you’ll work with Python, spreadsheets, and AI tools to solve complex data challenges and execute migrations efficiently. You’ll also help troubleshoot high-priority customer data issues and ensure migrations are completed accurately and on time.\nContract Type: Temporary - 3 months\nLocation: Onsite - Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas, Guatemala City\nSchedule: Monday-Friday\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn end-to-end data migrations: Extract data from third-party systems, including CSV files, APIs, and database exports; clean and normalize the data; and successfully import it into Podium.\n Transform and validate data: Use Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets to clean, manipulate, and validate large datasets.\nLeverage AI tools: Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and internal AI solutions to accelerate data cleaning, validation, and problem-solving.\nImprove processes: Identify recurring patterns and opportunities to make migrations faster, more scalable, and more accurate.\nCollaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Onboarding and Customer Success teams to understand customer requirements and ensure data accuracy.\nHandle escalations: Troubleshoot and resolve post-launch data issues with urgency, ownership, and clear communication.\nManage priorities: Work across multiple migration projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\n1-2 years of experience in a data or technical role, such as Data Analysis, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding, Implementation, or a related field.\nStrong Python skills, preferably using pandas for data cleaning and transformation.\nAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.\nExperience using AI tools to improve workflows and solve problems.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.\nNice to Have\nSQL experience.\nExperience working with REST APIs.\nSaaS onboarding, implementation, or technical support experience.\nFamiliarity with CRM platforms or business data models.\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive compensation starting at Q10,000 per month.\n3-month temporary contract.\nOnsite role in Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas, Guatemala City.\nMonday-Friday schedule.\nCollaborative environment working alongside Podium’s Data Migration, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams.\nAdditional benefits based on the terms of the temporary employment agreement.\nWhy This Role Matters\nA poor data migration can impact a customer’s experience from day one, while a great migration builds trust immediately.\nIn this role, your work will have a direct impact on how successfully customers launch with Podium.
