To be successful, the individual in this position will work closely with departmental leaders to identify opportunities, prove value, and apply Data Science at PODS.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop understanding of PODS internal data and business processes\nBuild data models and algorithms in pursuit of strategic objectives to grow customer base and PODS revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize PODS resource utilization\nCollaborate with colleagues and leaders in other departments to identify needs and proactively suggest solutions rooted in application of Data Science\nCreate and present reports that detail findings, recommendations, and solutions to decision makers within the organization, business partners, and investors\nWork with IT and business partners to package and deploy automated models to support business processes\nDevelop data science tool stack, frameworks, and go-to market processes to ensure accurate and sustainable implementation\nExpand PODS knowledge base around market insights and opportunities for growth\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline such as data science, mathematics, machine learning, statistics, operations research, or computer science; master’s degree preferred\n0-2 years of post-academic experience in for-profit setting\nDemonstrated experience using generative AI and LLMs\nModeling experience using cloud-based technology stack such as Azure ML, Databricks, Google Cloud AI, AWS Sagemaker;
