Responsibilities:\nProduction Engineering\nSupport the operation of critical services owned by the SRE team. \nAssist in monitoring service health, availability, and performance. \nParticipate in incident response activities under mentorship. \nLearn on-call practices and production operations. \nAssist with deployment validation and operational readiness activities.\nReliability Engineering & Observability\nSupport implementation of monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability improvements. \nLearn how logs, metrics, traces, and events are used to diagnose production environments. \nHelp identify monitoring gaps and areas for improved visibility. \nParticipate in post incident reviews and reliability improvement initiatives. \nDevelop foundational understanding of SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets. \nAutomation & AI Operations\nDevelop scripts and automation to eliminate repetitive operational work. \nContribute to internally developed AI powered operational tools. \nLearn how AI can accelerate troubleshooting and root cause analysis. \nSupport development of AI assisted runbooks and operational workflows. \nHelp identify opportunities to reduce toil through software engineering and automation.\nEngineering Enablement\nPartner with development teams to better understand production systems. \nAssist teams in adopting reliability and observability best practices. \nSupport operational readiness reviews. \nLearn how reliability influences software design and architecture decisions. \nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\n0-2 years of experience through employment, internship, or co-op programs. \nDegree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. \nBasic programming or scripting experience. \nStrong problem solving skills. \nCuriosity and desire to learn complex systems. \nEffective communication and teamwork skills. \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to Azure cloud services. \nExposure to Kubernetes or containerized applications. \nFamiliarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK. \nInterest in AI, automation, and distributed
