We're seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians who are excited to support students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.\nPosition Summary:\nAs a Behavior Technician in a school setting, you will work directly with students to support their academic growth and behavioral needs, often in specialized therapeutic and behavioral environments. You will provide individualized support to students with autism, trauma histories, or significant behavioral challenges while helping them develop essential academic, social-emotional, and life skills.\nResponsibilities include:\nSupporting students with behavioral and emotional needs, including those with autism, trauma histories, or significant behavioral challenges\nImplementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) strategies to address behaviors and promote learning\nProviding social-emotional learning (SEL) support, often in small groups or one-on-one settings\nBuilding rapport and trust by consistently engaging students, even when behaviors are challenging\nSupporting academic and life skills instruction alongside behavioral interventions\nPreparing and maintaining behavioral data sheets to monitor student progress\nAssisting with daily school routines, including student arrivals, morning meetings, and classroom transitions\nWorking with students on rotating assignments to support individualized academic, behavioral, and life skills goals\nCollaborating with teachers, behavioral specialists, and other school staff to provide consistent student support\nQualifications:\nExperience working with students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs preferred\nFamiliarity with ABA, MTSS, social-emotional learning, or trauma-informed practices preferred\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to build positive relationships with students and work collaboratively with school staff\nPatience, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations\nPassion for supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional
