Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.\nAs a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one-helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity-all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDesign, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS, including cluster lifecycle management, networking, autoscaling, and workload scheduling.\nManage and optimize EC2-based compute infrastructure, including instance selection, placement strategies, capacity planning, and utilization analysis.\nOperate and improve ECS-based services where applicable, ensuring consistency across our container runtime environments.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage compute resources at scale.\nCollaborate with development and platform teams to define compute patterns, containerization standards, and deployment best practices.\nMonitor compute environments for availability, performance, and cost, driving continuous optimization across the fleet.\nContribute to architectural decisions around workload placement, multi-tenancy, OS image and container lifecycle, and compute isolation strategies.\nWHAT'S REQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n5 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience with designing, configuring and operating Kubernetes in production, ideally on Amazon EKS, including familiarity with cluster operations, package management, autoscaling, service meshes, and observability tooling.\nDeep knowledge of other AWS compute and container services, particularly EC2 and ECS.\nProficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.\nExperience with software development in Python.\nSolid understanding of Linux systems, container runtimes, and networking fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application delivery.\nStrong grasp of cloud security principles, including IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management.\nExperience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform a plus.\nCommitment to the highest ethical standards\nWE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE\nWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
