Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.\nAs a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one-helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity-all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nSupport hands-on delivery of physical data center infrastructure for technology platforms and systems\nRack, stack, and cable enterprise server, storage, and network hardware in data center and colocation facilities\nInstall rail kits, cable managers, patch panels, and fiber enclosures while verifying physical layouts against approved connectivity diagrams\nRun, terminate, patch, and label copper and fiber cabling, keeping port maps and patch schedules accurate at both ends\nManage rack-level power cabling, verify redundant A/B feed separation, and monitor power draw against available capacity\nReplace failed hardware components, including drives, memory, power supplies, fans, network adapters, host bus adapters, and graphics processing units\nExecute physical power actions, connect local console equipment, and follow documented sequences for storage and clustered systems\nMaintain accurate rack elevations, asset records, configuration data, and inventory documentation for audits and reconciliation\nCoordinate hardware deliveries, vendor field visits, return merchandise authorization processing, decommissioning work, and retained-media handling in restricted data center spaces\nSupport build-outs, migrations, refreshes, disaster recovery testing, environmental response, and continuous improvement of data center standards\nWHAT’S REQUIRED\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience\n3+ years of experience in data center operations, information technology operations, enterprise hardware support, or a related environment\nDemonstrated experience racking, cabling, and replacing enterprise server, storage, and network hardware in data center or colocation facilities\nWorking knowledge of structured copper and fiber cabling, patch panel discipline, labeling standards, port maps, and cabling diagrams\nFamiliarity with data center power distribution, PDUs, redundant feeds, capacity monitoring, and A/B feed separation\nExperience maintaining accurate records in a configuration management database, data center infrastructure management system, or asset management tools\nHands-on experience with enterprise server and storage hardware, such as Dell and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including component replacement and health validation\nBasic familiarity with server environments such as Linux or Windows and clear written communication for ticket updates used by remote engineering teams\nStrong troubleshooting judgment and independence, with the ability to coordinate vendor field engineers, support off-hours maintenance, and regularly lift and install equipment\nCommitment to the highest ethical standards\nWE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE\nWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
