The role will involve a mix of HR Operations, onboarding, induction, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations and management of off-roll employees.\nThe person should be comfortable handling HR matters independently and should have good practical knowledge of labour compliances and HR processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage employee onboarding, joining formalities and induction.\nHandle day-to-day HR Operations and employee queries.\nMaintain employee records and update employee information in the HRMS.\nCoordinate monthly payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, LOP, new joiners, exits, salary changes, etc.\nCoordinate and monitor PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity and other applicable statutory compliances.\nHandle compliance-related documentation, registers, records and trackers.\nShould have good working knowledge of CLRA / Contract Labour compliance.\nManage HR-related activities for off-roll/contractual employees, including attendance, leave, payroll inputs and documentation.\nCoordinate with contractors/agencies for workforce-related and compliance requirements.\nShould have exposure to Shops & Establishments Act and Factory-related compliance.\nCoordinate with external consultants and statutory authorities wherever required.\nSupport labour inspections, audits, notices and other compliance-related matters.\nSupport Senior HRs in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters, including employee grievances, absenteeism, misconduct and disciplinary cases.\nMaintain HR MIS, trackers and other HR-related reports.\nSupport implementation of HR policies and processes across locations.\nCoordinate with Payroll, Finance, Admin, Operations and other internal teams for HR-related activities.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n4-6 years of relevant experience in HR Operations.\nCandidate should be based in Kolkata.\nHands-on experience in HR Operations, payroll coordination and statutory compliance.\nGood practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity and other labour compliances.\nExperience in CLRA and contractual/off-roll workforce management.\nExposure to Shops & Establishments and Factory compliance.\nExperience in handling employee grievances and ER/IR matters.\nExposure to Government/Labour Department liaisoning will be preferred.\nHRMS experience is mandatory. Experience in Keka will be an added advantage.\nGood working knowledge of MS Excel and HR MIS.\nGood communication and coordination skills.\n\nPreferred Background:\nCandidates from Manufacturing, Automotive, EV, Lithium Battery, Logistics, Field Operations, Service, Distribution or other workforce-intensive industries will be preferred.
