The person will be responsible for maintaining financial discipline, ensuring timely accounting and reporting, managing cash flow, strengthening internal controls and supporting the management team with meaningful financial insights.\nFinance & Accounting\nTake overall responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounting activities.\nEnsure books of accounts are maintained accurately and closed within the agreed timelines.\nReview accounting entries, reconciliations, provisions, ledgers and financial statements.\nEnsure proper accounting practices and financial controls are followed.\nEstablish and improve finance-related SOPs and approval processes.\nDrive weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual book closure.\nMIS & Management Reporting\nBuild a practical and reliable Finance MIS system for management review.\nPrepare regular MIS covering revenue, margins, EBITDA, expenses, receivables, payables, working capital and cash flow.\nTrack actual performance against budget and highlight major variances.\nProvide management with clear financial insights to support business decisions.\nImprove the quality, accuracy and turnaround time of financial reports.\nWork towards reducing manual reporting and improving the use of systems and data.\nInvestor Reporting\nTake ownership of regular financial reporting required for investors and senior management.\nPrepare financial performance reports, cash position, business KPIs and variance analysis.\nEnsure investor reports are accurate, consistent and submitted on time.\nSupport the management team during fundraising, investor discussions and financial due diligence.\nCoordinate financial information required for investor data rooms and other due-diligence exercises.\nCash Flow & Working Capital\nPrepare and monitor regular cash-flow statements and forecasts.\nKeep close track of collections, payments, receivables and payables.\nEnsure adequate liquidity for business operations.\nMonitor working capital and identify areas where cash can be better managed.\nWork with the relevant teams to improve collection and payment cycles.\nCoordinate with banks and other financial institutions as required.\nBudgeting & Financial Planning\nLead the annual budgeting exercise in coordination with business and functional heads.\nPrepare financial forecasts and rolling projections.\nReview budget versus actual performance and identify key deviations.\nSupport management in cost control and financial planning.\nProvide financial inputs for new business initiatives and expansion plans.\nAudit, Compliance & Due Diligence\nCoordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.\nEnsure books, schedules and supporting documents are maintained in an audit-ready manner.\nFollow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure.\nCoordinate with auditors, tax consultants and other external advisors.\nEnsure timely GST, TDS, income-tax and other applicable statutory compliances.\nSupport financial due diligence for investors, lenders, business partners and strategic transactions.\nIdentify financial risks and recommend suitable controls.\nFinance Process & Systems\nStrengthen finance processes, controls and approval matrices.\nLead implementation and improvement of finance-related systems.\nSufficient knowledge in Zoho Book, Implementation, building SOPs and indepth knowledge of proper utilization.\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity within the accounting system.\nStandardise reporting formats, financial documentation and finance workflows.\nTeam Management\nLead and manage the finance and accounts team.\nDefine KRAs/KPIs and ensure timely completion of finance activities.\nGuide the team on accounting practices, controls and compliance.\nBuild a culture of ownership, accuracy and financial discipline.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nPerson should be a qualified CA.\n12-15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts , Financial Controllership.\nStrong handson experience in accounting, financial reporting and controllership.\nGood understanding of financial statements and accounting practices.\nStrong experience in MIS, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.\nExperience in handling statutory/internal audits and financial due diligence.\nPrior experience in investor reporting will be strongly preferred.\nStrong Excel and financial analysis skills and Good understanding of internal financial controls and compliance.\nHands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
