This role owns the management, coaching, and performance of our Technical Project Manager (TPM) team, a distributed group based in the US and Turkey, and is responsible for building the standards, tools, and rhythms that let that team deliver consistently excellent outcomes for our global clients.\nThis is a hybrid people-leadership and process role: you'll manage TPMs directly, while also designing the playbooks, KPIs, and governance that turn individual project wins into a repeatable, scalable delivery function. You'll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Delivery, and Engineering leadership to make sure delivery capacity, quality, and client experience scale with the business.\nYou're a strong fit if you've led distributed technical project teams servicing enterprise customers before, are energized by building process from scratch, and know how to balance hands-on coaching with executive-level reporting - all while working across US and Turkey time zones.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and lead Pointr's Program Management Office (PMO), setting the vision, structure, and operating rhythm for the TPM function\n\nDirectly manage a team of Technical Project Managers based in the US and Turkey, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management\n\nDefine and roll out standardized delivery methodology, templates, and playbooks across the full project lifecycle - from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support\n\nEstablish and track portfolio-level KPIs (on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, resource utilization, risk exposure) across all concurrent client deployments\n\nOwn portfolio-level visibility for leadership: consolidate project status, risks, and resourcing across the TPM team into clear, executive-ready reporting\n\nDrive quality evaluations of all completed implementations, including customer and end user experience evaluations.\n\nServe as an escalation point for at-risk projects, partnering with TPMs and technical teams to unblock delivery issues before they impact clients\n\nPartner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering leadership on capacity planning, staffing forecasts, and cross-functional process alignment\n\nStandardize the toolset used for project tracking and reporting (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and drive consistent adoption across the team\n\nFoster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing across a geographically distributed team, with a focus on increasing quality and reducing time to implementation.\n\nStay close to Pointr's product and technology so the PMO's standards reflect real deployment realities, and feed field learnings back into the product roadmap\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nFirst 90 days: you've met every TPM and key stakeholder, mapped the current project portfolio and delivery pain points, and have a clear point of view on where the PMO should focus first.\n\n6 months: a standardized delivery playbook and reporting cadence are in place, KPIs are being tracked consistently across both regions, and the TPM team feels supported and aligned around shared standards.\n\n12 months: the PMO is a trusted, visible function - delivery performance is consistent and predictable across the US and Turkey, leadership has clear portfolio-level visibility, and the team is set up to scale as Pointr grows.\n\nWhat We Seek\n8-12+ years of experience in customer facing technical program/project management, including experience managing or leading a team of project or technical project managers\n\nPrior experience building, running, or scaling a PMO or centralized delivery function within a technology, SaaS, or hardware company\n\nDemonstrated success managing distributed, cross-border teams, ideally spanning US and international (EMEA/Turkey) time zones\n\nStrong grounding in project/program delivery methodology (Agile, hybrid) and the ability to translate it into practical, adoptable playbooks\n\nTrack record of defining and reporting on delivery KPIs to senior leadership\n\nExcellent people-leadership skills: coaching, performance management, and building a strong team culture across geographies\n\nStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating across technical, commercial, and leadership audiences\n\nAbility to work a schedule with meaningful overlap across US (EST) and Turkey (TRT) business hours\n\nFull professional proficiency in written and spoken English\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in indoor location technology, IoT, hardware deployment, or other complex physical/technical implementation environments\n\nPMP®, PgMP®, or Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification\n\nExperience setting up a PMO function from the ground up in a scaling startup working with Global 500 and other enterprise customers\n\nDemonstrable experience with project and portfolio tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar\n\nBS or MS degree in a relevant technical, business, or management field\n\nWhat We Offer\nA supportive, kind (no-ego), and smart team\n\nInternational environment and inclusive culture\n\nCompetitive base salary, attractive stock options, and uncapped renewal commission\n\nPrivate health care (75%) and Dental\n\nCompany-sponsored parental leave\n\n18 days PTO, plus sick time + 12 holidays per year\n\n401(k) retirement scheme\n\nDo Not Meet Every Requirement?
