In addition the main duties include overseeing the quality assurance functions and process controls, supervising personnel to complete the daily QA / QC tasks; full compliance with SOP’s and safety requirements, administrative policies; preventive maintenance; predictive maintenance schedule of laboratory / process equipment; monitoring of records, personnel development, process improvements and departmental cost performance.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for direct supervision and utilization of laboratory / water treatment / syrup blending / sanitation / microbiological equipment, raw materials, quality processes and people in a food production/packaging environment.\nOptimize resources while ensuring raw materials and finished product meet specifications and manufacturing standards and in accordance with FDA, CFIA, USDA, GMP’s HACCP, and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.\nAct as Quality Manager during their absence.\nMonitoring production and warehousing processes and practices to ensure satisfactory controls for safety and security of finished products.\nWorking with internal management team to schedule work/tasks relating to quality compliance.\nOversee daily QA and QC inspections to ensure all products are meeting compliance\nWrite, update, and maintain SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)\nSupervises accurate and timely reporting of work documentations and records to ensure integrity and retention requirements.\nMust understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees\nResponsible for Food Safety and Food Quality\nJob Requirements:\nAbility to work in hot / cold / wet environments with loud machinery, fumes and moving vehicles\nDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong analytical skills\nAbility to ready, write, and keep records\nGood computer skills including literacy with Excel and
